DR. MARC ALBER was born & raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Creighton University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1994 & Doctor of Dental Science in 1998. Upon graduating he moved with his wife to Colorado and began private practice in Denver. In December of 1998 he purchased Boulder Dental Group and has practiced solely in Boulder since.

Dr. Alber is a member of the American Dental Association, The Colorado Dental Association and the Boulder County Dental Society. He attends extensive continuing education courses every year in cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry & implant dentistry, including live patient treatment courses at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).

At LVI he performs complex cosmetic dental procedures amongst groups of his peers and some of the leading cosmetic dentistry instructors in the world. He has graduated from Advanced Anterior Aesthetics, The Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction Program, & courses on Occlusion (healthy bite relationships) to name a few. He is currently training at the Eubank Institute, one of the premier schools for studying occlusion. Dr. Alber was named one of the America's top dentist by the Consumers Research Council of America 2005 - 2006.

Dr. Alber is also trained in and uses Cerec 3D, a revolutionary technology that allows him to make metal free, all porcelain restorations in one visit. In his free time, Dr. Alber enjoys traveling, snowboarding and spending time with his wife and children.
